A professional and motivating Post-Grad degree in Education holder, Private Tutor & Assessor, SpLD Specialist & Class Teacher in both independent & mainstream schools, able to recommend alternative methods for SEN pupils, assess for learning and create personalised provision and intervention. I am a calm, empathetic and creative teaching enthusiast with an innate warm and nurturing persona. I am a confident and caring communicator able to assist young people in a relatable manner, with the ability to accept and respond to supervision. I am a warm-hearted professional capable of using initiative when supervising and safeguarding children with an ability to adapt to the needs of all children tentatively. I am also an independent, systematic worker with a creative know-how allowing an innovative yet organised approach to teaching and provision, with a strong drive to inclusively help all children achieve their full potential. I am consciously aware that every child has the potential to achieve greatness and I truly believe I have the capability to support every child to, regardless of their specific needs, enter into the enlightening, empowering journey of mastering their own life. In my teaching I practice the Maths Mastery approach, Phonics, Talk 4 Writing, Reciprocal Reading, Zones of Regulation and always facilitate metacognition through questions using the Blooms Taxonomy as a framework.
