I am currently pursuing an MSc in Business Consulting from Warwick Business School and am on the road to achieving a Distinction for the course. My academic track record (feel free to ask for proof) has proven to be of excellent standards and am more than happy to transcend that to my students.

Tutoring Experience

I have earlier held tutorial classes for students in India, both at school as well as university level. Seeing students improve is something that truly brings me immense gratification.

I have taught English and Mathematics to four students from Grades 8 and 9. There was an improvement of over 15% in each of their results with the maximum being an improvement of 32%. I have taught Commerce and Business Studies at the undergraduate level with an improvement from 2.6 to 3.4 out of 4.0 GPA (65% to 85%).

Tutoring Approach

I choose to take an approach that is most suitable for the student.

• One-on-on sessions are most ideal to focus on the strengths and weaknesses of each student.
• Based on the requirements and timelines of the student, I come up with short-term goals and agendas so that the learning process is clearly tracked. Regular tests/quizzes/assignments are encouraged and will be arranged if the student is willing!
• I make it a point to share as many resources that are available to me as possible so that students find it easy to refer to academic papers for reference.
• While focusing on the subject/module that requires help, I also provide general guidelines/tips on learning methods, proofreading, study hacks, referencing, formatting and presentation etc.
• I am someone who is extremely patient and understanding of individual needs. I would always want the tutee to feel at ease and comfortable with the study mechanisms used while not having to treat me as a "superior."
