My son worked with Shaun during his A levels on a weekly basis as Physics was his weakest A level.
Shaun was patient, approachable, incredibly knowledgeable and well-prepared for my son's sessions.
It was a wonderfully relaxed and productive partnership and my son was delighted to be awarded a grade A. This would simply not have been possible without Shaun!

Shaun tutored my daughter for her A-level physics during her 6th form years, and he provided mathematics A-level tutoring during her final year at school. He is very knowledgeable and we never felt he was unable to help. His knowledge of both physics and mathematics is superb, and beyond the knowledge itself, his attitude as a tutor was very positive and this makes the whole experience worthwhile. Shaun is also punctual and reliable. In the two years he tutored my daughter, we did not have even one unexpected cancellation, he was never late and he could always accommodate any schedule changes we needed to make. Shaun has been tutoring my son (year 13) for almost 2 months to help him prepare for the Oxbridge entrance exam for Physics (the PAT), and he's been really great! My son only made the decision to study Physics very recently and so he's had to get ready very quickly for this difficult exam (which covers both Physics and Maths). Shaun has taught him topics that had not been covered at school and has helped my son to work through past papers, talking with him about how to approach tricky questions, and encouraging him to develop the right mindset. I have basically zero skills at Physics and Maths myself, but it's clear to me that Leo is much more confident than he was a couple of months ago, and he's doing better and better on those past papers. He's definitely much better prepared to take the PAT now, and I have Shaun to thank for this. Shaun has also been very responsive to emails from me checking in on Leo's progress and is all-round very easy and pleasant to deal with. Thanks so much to Shaun - I wouldn't hesitate to ask for more of his tutoring if Leo needs it closer to the A-levels.
