I am an enthusiastic and engaging English tutor with 4 years of experience working as an English Teacher. I am also a registered AQA Examiner, who is looking forward to helping you achieve the grades. I love English and believe it is such a valuable subject that allows students to raise social, historical and economical knowledge, whilst, building a sense of self awareness. I love reading, writing and have experience teaching KS3 and KS4. I believe independence and proactivity is key to becoming successful and knowledgeable.

Tutoring Approach

I will first assess the students level, whilst, providing them with steps to understand theory or new contextual knowledge. I believe scaffolding and modelling answers have a huge impact on student progress. I have helped people at all stages, from developing GCSE planning of essays to enhancing vocabulary and understanding writer's intentions.
