Hi, I'm Simran, and I absolutely love teaching! With three years of experience tutoring students from KS1 to A-level and as a qualified teacher, I am deeply passionate about education. I believe that every child has the potential to thrive with the right support and encouragement. Beyond teaching, I'm an avid reader, and I love sharing that passion with my students to help spark their curiosity and love for learning. Helping children grow, gain confidence, and reach their full potential is what drives me every day

Tutoring Experience

I have had the privilege of teaching in schools across both KS1 and KS2, and I am currently teaching Year 3. With over three years of experience tutoring primary-aged children in core subjects, I understand the importance of building a strong foundation in learning. Additionally, I have over four years of experience providing one-to-one tutoring for a wide range of GCSE and A-level subjects. My focus is on helping children reach their full potential, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed both academically and personally.

My teaching approach is grounded in Rosenshine’s principles of instruction, ensuring that students are not only engaged but also truly understand the material. I focus on chunking learning into manageable steps, regularly reviewing previous lessons to reinforce knowledge, and using worked examples to guide students through complex concepts. As a one-to-one tutor, I have the flexibility to personalize learning to each child’s specific needs, targeting areas where they need the most support. This tailored approach ensures that my students build confidence, develop a deeper understanding, and ultimately achieve their full potential.
