I am an experienced CELTA English tutor, having tutored at all levels - A1 to C1 Professional English for Business. I am also a B2 level in Spanish, therefore can tutor beginner to upper intermediate levels in Spanish. I am fully invested in making sure every lesson is of high quality, covering all aspects of the English language but also focusing on creating a comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Learning a language is opening your mind to a whole new way to communicate, and this is something very exciting, which i am here to help you with!

Tutoring Experience

I have taught English as foreign language at Coventry University for the past three years as well as teaching English in Spain last year.
I have also tutored GSCE's students in both English and English Literature, with my last student starting at a grade 3 and her final result a grade 7.
I have taught all age ranges, for 4 year old - adult.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style aims to elicit what you already know, then work together to build on your knowledge, with my aim to always structure my lessons around what you want to focus on whether this is grammar, pronunciation, tone or culture. If you are not sure what your aims are, we can discuss together and find a strategy that is best for you in improving your language skills.
I believe incorporating real life is key to learning languages, therefore lesson will always cover cultural aspects and build you your ability to use the language in context for example recognising the appropriate tone in different situations and how to use language, body language and facial expressions to create the impression of a native!
