I am a qualified biology teacher and enjoy teaching biology, with friendly disposition. I am flexible and result driven. I am married with a 16 year-old daughter and 11 years old son. I enjoy travelling.
I have about 13 years teaching experience, I have taught in public and private secondary schools in England. I have also taught (Molecular Biology and Medical Microbiology) briefly at Queen Margaret University Edinburgh. I have worked with the following councils West Lothian, Clackmannanshire, Shetland Island and Aberdeenshire across Scotland. I am currently a biology lecturer at Edinburgh College.
I teach learners how to eliminate wrong options in multiple choice questions.
My first lesson is usually a discussion and diagnostic test, this helps to identify strength and weakness.
I teach learners how to avoid common mistakes in examinations, I emphasise using the correct key words in answering essay questions. I can help with National 4 and National 5 Biology, Higher Biology as well as the Higher Human Biology.
