Hello! I'm a Maths teacher currently working in an outstanding secondary school in Solihull. Alongside this, I provide tuition to pupils aged 11-16.

Tutoring Experience

I achieved my PGCE Secondary Maths qualification in 2016. Since then I have worked in two schools and in my 5th year of teaching. Since May 2019 I have been working as KS4 coordinator in maths, managing and promoting valuable teaching and learning, amongst engagement with exam preparation.

Tutoring Approach

I always begin my sessions with a mixed selection of questions, in order to practice recalling topics learnt previously. I try and ensure that the questions are in an exam style to develop pupils' confidence in answering exam questions. I create a tailored schedule for each of my students, with a focus of consolidating and strengthening knowledge in topics they have recently learnt at school. Homework is given weekly so that students can independently practice the content covered in the sessions. I ensure that my students regularly build on their knowledge to secure a deep understanding of maths. I look forward to helping your students.
