I am graduated in Mathematics & Computer's Science and gained Qualified Teacher Status in 2012. Maths made me passionate about teaching and I would like to offer my experience and strengths to pupils, challenging them to think in new and innovative ways in Mathematics.

Tutoring Experience

Since 2012, I have started teaching and worked within schools across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire to cover short and long term vacancies (Maths & ICT). I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of age ranges of students from 7 to 18 years, supporting them in order to achieve their expectations and good grades for SAT'S, GCSE'S and A Levels in Maths. My experience consists in working directly both with pupils in mainstream schools as well as in special schools. As a private tutor, I taught students in 1:1 sessions and my tutoring was reflected in high results obtained in their GCSE'S exams.

Tutoring Approach

I enjoy the prospect of trying demanding activities with my learners, whilst I provide ample support through organisation and planning. I also provide students with a clear and understandable vision of the learning target, offering a regular descriptive feedback. Each student is different and therefore not all of them function at the same academic level given. Considering that, I also modify my lessons, so that all students benefit from the material. The best way to teach students is to engage them, to motivate their learning in order to create successful learners with excellent results in Maths.
