Stephie has proven to be an excellent tutor over the last year or so that she has helped me. I came to her with a very basic vocabulary but no real ability to put the words together to make coherent sentences. Now, I’m able to converse on basic topics, talk about my week and converse in both the current and past tense. Stephie clearly gives thought to forthcoming sessions and the pace of my learning, while her ‘homework’ is well thought through and appropriate to my level of knowledge /competence. Beyond her technical abilities as a teacher, she also makes the lessons fun, both of which being why I hope she can continue to tutor me going forward!

Stephie helped support my daughter in the run up to her GCSE in Spanish. Stephie couldn't have been more helpful, providing great support in a friendly and intuitive way.

Stephie was very flexible in the way she worked, identifying the areas that my daughter needed to work on and then moving her diary around to suit availability.

As a complete beginner with Spanish, I started with some on line courses, I found Stephie and in February started having weekly lessons, this has greatly improved my Spanish knowledge and understanding, Stephie constantly brings new elements into each lesson, and always coaches me on the correct pronunciation of words, regularly she recaps on previous learning, whilst I am not yet able to hold a full conversation, that day is not too far the future, Stephie builds your confidence, we do have a laugh in lessons, which I look forward immensely. I have no hesitation in recommending Stephie as a Spanish Tutor for all levels.

Stephie, provides clear lessons supporting in school Spanish. She is well prepared and has good material raedy for the lesson. We'll see how things go in January mocks but have every reason to think that Rhys will exceed current expectations and be on the road to a high GCSE grade.

Stephie is an excellent tutor, she re-built my son’s confidence which had been completed blown by a previous tutor. Her teaching style and ability to focus on what was needed was brilliant. He may not get a 9 in his gcse but he went in more confident and much better prepared having spent a couple of months with Stephie. Stephie is punctual, kind and a experienced tutor. I wouldn’t hesitate to recomend her to anyone. She structures her lessons to meet her students individual needs.
