I'm a fun but dedicated tutor with experience from teaching at high school and helping my own children to successfully pass the Tiffin and Sutton SET Maths Tests, sandwiched around a career in financial services. I can add most value to children in Year 4 and Year 5.

Tutoring Experience

I have had a career of over 20 years in the city, creating a wide range of investments involving complex financial instruments, but have always enjoyed teaching students from high school down to younger children. My recent experience has been in helping my children pass their 11 plus Tiffin and Sutton SET Maths exams.

Tutoring Approach

I have isolated the key skills required to pass these exams, with careful analysis of past exam papers and Key stage 2 syllabus. I aim to provide children with the confidence to overcome the toughest of challenges that will come up in the exams through help in teaching fundamental principles and helping with question answering technique.
