Hi! My name is Tabitha, and I am a Venezuelan-British teacher, currently living in Spain. Teaching languages is my passion; I am bilingual in English and Spanish. I have travelled to over 30 countries, I enjoy reading, history, playing bass and cycling

Tutoring Experience

I am a TEFL-certified English teacher, with a year of experience teaching in an academy to adults and children. I teach Cambridge exams, business classes and general English. I also tutor Spanish, French and Latin GCSE. I have been tutoring for 4 years; I have been teaching English for two years.

Tutoring Approach

I believe the best teachers are adaptable, patient and passionate. A teacher must adapt to their students' individual needs; they must be patient with them; and they must have a passion for the subject. Incorporating the real world into lessons is also essential. Learning a language is all about context; grammar just doesn't make sense without a real-life application! I like to incorporate current affairs, art, history, geography, science and culture into my lessons. It makes lessons more dynamic and interesting!
