My name is Mary. I have recently been offered a place at Cambridge for medicine. I achieved all 8 & 9s at GCSEs and was predicted 4 A*s at A-level for Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Psychology. I have been a tutor for a year now teaching students in my school but would like to expand my cliental.

Tutoring Experience

I have done work experience at St Quintins centre for 6 months which is a disabled children centre where I helped children with the homework and revision allowing me to expand my non-verbal communication. I have did work experience for a year at a nursery as well as at Kings College Hospital helping to teach all age groups about their medication and healthcare choices.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering critical thinking skills, promoting active engagement in the learning process, and instilling a lifelong love of learning in my students. I am passionate about helping students not only excel academically but also develop the skills and mindset necessary for success in their future endeavors. I am dedicated to understanding each student's unique learning style and adapting my approach to meet their individual needs, whether they require extra practice, clarification of concepts, or advanced enrichment. I would help students in learning exam skills and making revision resources like posters and flashcards.
