I am a music student at Newnham College, Cambridge University. With A*AA in Music, German and Mathematics A-Levels, along with an A grade in my Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), I have a strong academic background that I bring to my tutoring. Additionally, I have personal experience in what it takes to succeed in Oxbridge applications and can provide up-to-date advice and tailored support to help students navigate these competitive processes successfully.

Tutoring Experience

I am beginning my tutoring journey and looking to build experience. Although I haven’t formally tutored before, my strong academic background and disciplined approach to learning give me a solid foundation to support students. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simpler parts to make learning as accessible as possible. My academic experience through A Levels and my first year at Cambridge has helped me develop effective study techniques and insight into exam preparation, which I hope to share with my tutees.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are planned around the individual needs and abilities of each student. I will provide full feedback notes after every session so that both the student and their parents can clearly see what has been covered, what needs further work, and how best to prepare for the next lesson. This helps everyone stay informed about the student’s progress.
I also create a shared document for each student, where I compile lesson notes, resources, and revision materials. This acts as a useful reference point and helps visualise the full scope of their exam content, encouraging structured and confident learning over time.
