I am an experienced teacher living with my wife and daughter in Sunderland, where I have been tutoring for the last few years. I love the opportunity to inspire confidence in young learners, to help them reach their full potential through one-to-one learning, and to see that translate into excellent results.
I am new to this website, hence there are no reviews shown yet, but I do have plenty I can show you.
I am currently only offering online sessions, using professional virtual classroom software.
I have had 6 years experience in teaching at a Further Education college in Salisbury, and achieved a PGCE awarded by Greenwich University. They also gave me an "Excellence in Teaching" award. I have learnt Maths to degree level (BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Newcastle University). I have been tutoring in the Sunderland area of the last few years, and seen many students achieve their desired grades. I have also tutored my daughter (who is home educated) in her GCSE Maths and other science subjects, and I even attempt to assist her with her degree in Chemistry!
Let me help you with my friendly and relaxed approach to learning. I will take the time to lead you at your own pace, ensuring that you have grasped each concept before moving on to the next. One-on-one teaching can help to isolate problem areas, work through them together, and build confidence where it is lacking.
Maths can be fun!
