I graduated with a 2.1 in History from the University of Nottingham in 2014. My strengths are in History, English, Geography and Business Studies. My A-Level results were all A's and this was something that allowed me to experience a wide range of topic lists.

Tutoring Experience

I am currently teaching at a leading independent prep school in the Surrey area. I completed my PGCE this year and am entering my third year at my current school. My strengths are Humanities and I would be suitable for History, Geography, English or Business Studies tutoring. Prior to teaching I was employed at a global advertising agency working on Microsoft. However, education has become my passion and I am looking forward to helping children achieve their potential.

Tutoring Approach

My approach would be to make the lessons fun, engaging and creative. I hope this would encourage a thirst for knowledge rather than dreading each session! Each lesson might require different approaches as I think it is crucial to realise that all children learn in different ways- one technique may work for one and not the other.
