I am a first-year medical student at the University of Oxford, who achieved all A*s at A-Level and an outstanding set of GCSE results (seven grade 9s and three grade 8s). My academic journey reflects my dedication to excellence and my ability to thrive under pressure. Coming from a state school background, I understand the importance of having the right support and encouragement to succeed, and I am passionate about helping others unlock their full potential.

Beyond my academic pursuits, I am an avid Formula One enthusiast and aspire to become a Formula One medic in the future. The intersection of high-pressure decision-making and cutting-edge medical science in this field excites me and fuels my dedication to medicine. It’s a goal that perfectly aligns with my love for both medicine and the fast-paced world of motorsport.

Sports also play a significant role in my life. I actively participate in ice hockey, football, and a variety of other sports whenever I can. Balancing the demands of rigorous academics with competitive sports has instilled in me discipline, resilience, and strategic thinking—qualities I apply to every aspect of my life.

Additionally, I take great pride in having memorized the entire Quran, a deeply personal and spiritual achievement that reflects my dedication, perseverance, and faith as a proud Muslim. This accomplishment has further shaped my character, teaching me patience, focus, and the value of consistent effort.

Tutoring Experience

In addition to my academic and extracurricular pursuits, I have gained extensive experience in teaching and mentoring over the past two years. I have provided tuition for GCSE and A-Level students in subjects such as Maths, Biology, and Chemistry, helping them build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their academic goals. Witnessing their progress has been incredibly rewarding and has deepened my passion for supporting others in their educational journeys.

I have also taught UCAT preparation, equipping aspiring medical students with the skills and strategies needed to excel in this critical exam. Additionally, I have conducted mock interviews for university applicants, particularly for medical school admissions, offering constructive feedback and guidance to help them present their best selves during the application process. These experiences have honed my communication, leadership, and empathy skills, which I believe are essential not only for teaching but also for my future career in medicine.
