Hello! I am an experienced secondary Maths teacher, having taught GCSE and A-Level maths across a range of exam boards. After graduating from the University of Oxford with a Masters degree in Economics, I earned my teaching qualifications in Suffolk, and then moved to the North-East where I taught in North Tyneside. I now work as a statistician.
I am passionate about maths, particularly supporting more students to exceed at A-Level.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you to achieve your maths goals!
I am an experienced maths teacher, previously working as Assistant Curriculum Lead in Maths, and have taught multiple A-Level classes.
I will provide students with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in their maths studies through using worked examples, lots of practice and confidence building exercises, as well as problem solving questions to challenge students further. If necessary, I will identify areas of difficulty for the student and rebuild maths skills and confidence from there, allowing them to make accelerated progress.
The tutee can bring work and problems to our sessions to work through and discuss, or I can provide materials on relevant topics as required to work in line with what the student is learning in school.
Having taught online throughout the lockdowns, I am experienced in delivering lessons online.
I am only able to conduct tutoring sessions online. I currently have availability on a Thursday and Sunday evening.
