Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching in schools for 14 years. I am a level 1 qualified science lead practitioner meaning I train teachers how to teach. I have worked in single sex schools and mixed schools with students from a variety of backgrounds.
I am very knowledgable with many exam boards and I know how to ensure that students do well in exams by interleaving exam technique into each lesson.

I have been tutoring online for 3 years now on a one to one basis to both KS3 and KS4 students.

Tutoring Approach

I have been told from my training days that I am a natural teacher. I understand how to impart knowledge onto students but more importantly make that content stick in their mind.
I am a big advocate of finding out what makes the students tick and tapping into that to make the lessons engaging and interesting.
