I am currently working as Clinical Application Specialist in the Health Sector, based in Gloucester, UK. I have a professional background in both Engineering and Teaching and have a strong academic background in mathematics and the physical sciences.

I’m well-versed in catering to the diverse requirements of different boards including Edexcel, AQA, and OCR, ensuring that each student receives tailored guidance and support. My expertise spans as below

· Maths and Science up to KS3,

· Maths, Chemistry and Physics up to GCSE

· Pure Maths, Statistics and Mechanics up to A levels

· Further Maths Up to A levels

· Physics up to A levels

I have a Degree in Electronics & Computer Science and a Masters' degree in Applied Maths (Digital Signal and Image Processing). Both of my undergraduate and postgraduate studies included considerable amount of Maths and Physics studies which I still use in my teaching / tutoring.

Tutoring Experience

I worked for 4 years as a university lecturer, teaching Engineering Maths and Electronics / Electrical principles to engineering students. In addition, I have taught for more than 10 years in an Independent School (grammar school), teaching mainly Maths, Further Maths, Engineering Maths and Physics to a wide range of age groups KS3 ( year 7- year 9), GCSE, A-Levels and University foundation students).

Tutoring Approach

I first assess the student on his/her ability on Maths and discuss what he/she wants to achieve from the tuition session - I follow a coaching approach, working at the speed of the individual, addressing weaknesses and increasing confidence and ability.

I specialise in helping students prepare for their Mock and Public examinations. Working through examples of the core questions and developing the lesson to ensure they understand the topic while focusing on exam techniques.

Moreover, I use a variety of cross exam board ( Edexel, AQA, OCR, WJEC) resources with the aim of giving students maximum exposure to different questioning styles and this has proved to be extremely successful as students do get maximum experience in the subject. Hence my students are expected to lot of practice questions between sessions.

There is no substitute for success besides practicing and solving many past exam questions .I have helped numerous students to improve their grades considerably through rigorous revision techniques and past exam questions.

Online Tutoring

Once a student is registered with me I am able to offer online tuition. I use a pen-enabled laptop and camera to provide real time display of questions, answers and explanations to deliver an effective tutoring session.

To take advantage of this technology a student needs a computer with connected microphone and an internet connection. There is no requirement for a video connection from the student to the tutor. This approach is proving popular with many students
