After working full time in a secondary school in Hertfordshire I moved to Devon and worked as a lecturer of English and Maths in adult education. Since moving to Dorset I have been working part time as a tutor.
Tutoring Experience
Worked as a teacher of KS3 KS4 and KS5 in a Secondary school in Herfordshire. Held the position of Head of Department and was lead teacher for A level. Lecturer of English and Maths at Petroc College in Devon. Been tutoring privately since 2012 and last two and a half years for Academy in Weymouth part time.since 2012.
Tutoring Approach
Flexible, friendly and motivational. Strengths are my planning and use of different teaching approaches to help students improve confidence and therefore make progress. Lots of experience with SEND.
