Online Maths and Physics Teacher

I am a recent graduate from Oxford University in master’s in mathematics. I also have a first-class degree in mathematics from Imperial College London, where I ranked highly in my cohort.
This is following achieving A*A*A* at A-Level and scoring highly in the Mathematics Aptitude Test (MAT). This year, I am studying for an MPhil in Finance at Cambridge University.

I teach all the way from 11+ to university level in maths as well as years 7-11 in GCSE physics. I also am able to tutor for the MAT (Mathematics Aptitude Test).

Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring over 6 years now. I have had experience in tutoring all the way from university level to 11+. I have been tutored mathematics undergraduates at Imperial College London after being invited by the university. I have also taught students at other prestigious universities including LSE and UCL. Previously, I have tutored students in one-on-one in A-Level Maths, where they have progressed significantly and achieved the grades they wanted. Also, I have tutored groups of students from years 7-11 for GCSE Mathematics/Statistics. Students have gone on to achieve highly in school tests (As and A*s).

Tutoring Approach

My teaching is student-led, where I help the student to tackle problems and gaps in their knowledge through a variety of questions and analogies. I tend to pore deeper into the origins and proofs of concepts and ideas: as I believe this can make learning more interesting, improving retention of topics and ideas.

I enjoy teaching as seeing my students succeed provides a sense of satisfaction like no other: I aim to help students for many years in the future
