I am currently in my first year at the University of Nottingham for MSci in computer science.
I have always been a fan of mathematics as it is visible in every aspect of life, be it sports or daily activities.
I have recently finished my A levels where I achieved top grades in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics (A*, A, A respectively).
I also achieved 3x9s, 6x8s & 3x7s at GCSE in maths, further mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, english literature, english language, german, economics, geography, design and technology, and computer science
I have also achieved a grade A in my hindi GCSE back when I was in year 9.
I have been a mathematics mentor at my school for the last 4yrs of my school career throughout GCSEs and A levels where i would teach and assist other students in topics they would struggle in.
I also volunteer at my local temple to teach children hindi in speaking, listening, reading and writing on the weekends
My teaching approach is very hands on and active. I tend to link the topics and techniques to real life situations that are mostly tailored to the certain individual, as I feel it is easier to visualise and understand.
I also feel like practicing questions is the best way of learning and understanding topics.
