Hello! I’m Xin — a friendly and effective tutor with a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Manchester. I specialise in Maths, Physics, Further Maths, and Chemistry at GCSE, A-Level, and university level.

With over 6 years of tutoring experience, I’ve helped students improve their grades by 1–3 levels, build confidence, and secure offers from top schools and universities including Cambridge, UCL, Imperial and leading Sixth Forms.

My lessons are clear, structured and supportive — always tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. I explain complex ideas in simple ways and genuinely care about each student’s progress.

I have over six years of tutoring experience across GCSE, A-Level, and university level. I specialise in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and have worked with students preparing for a wide range of exams, including:

Tutoring Approach

Lessons are usually 60–90 minutes and include:
