I am a Master's student from Sheffield University. I completed my MSc (Research) in 2004 and have been in the Building Services and now in the Power Generation Industry as a consulting engineer for the past 12 years. I have undergone a CRB check as part of my professional work.I am a Chartered Energy Engineer recognised by the engineering council UK, and a member of the Energy Institute as well as a member of CIBSE UK

I have always loved to teach, I used to teach undergraduates while I was at University. I like to be a tutor as it helps empowering people and enlightening lives. I shall try to make learning core concepts as easy as possible in order to make learning a highly enjoyable experience.

I have more than a thousand E-Books covering all aspects of Engineering, Maths, Mechanics, Engineering Thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, CFD, Strength of Materials, Heat Transfer in short all Engineering Sciences, I shall provide relevant E-Books to my Tutees for free to help them learn the core fundamentals and also to enable them to do further examples and case studies to reinforce the learning process.

I have got very good feedback and reviews from past students who have passed their exams with good marks.

Won the Outstanding Contribution to Sustainability in the Industry (2007)

Tutoring Experience

I have been involved in teaching ever since I was at University to my fellow juniors and here in the UK, I have always loved teaching as a hobby, as it a powerful tool for empowerment.

I have sucessfully taught Engineering Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics to 2nd and 3rd year Engineering students. I have assisted 2 students projects in CFD analysis and Gas Turbines till date. My teaching style involves concentrating on the core concepts in the derivations rather than concentrating on the Maths and then scaling upwards to enable the student to appreciate the Physics and the Maths involved.

However, please note that these subjects are not currently covered under the tutor list, these are specialist subjects for which I charge a higher fee depending upon the complexity of the subject as it requires me to do a bit of preparatory study to teach these subjects. I shall advise you of my fee for these subjects after interacting with the pupils.

Tutoring Approach

I try to make core concepts in Physics and Maths as easy to enable the pupil to understand the concept. Once the foundation is laid properly, additional information can be added to complete the overall structure.

I am very flexible and I adapt my tutoring style to the bespoke needs of each individual. Whether your particular needs are factual and syllabus related, or if it's your exam or revision technique that you’re looking to improve, then we can work together to create a highly successful, personal and enjoyable study programme to ensure you achieve your full potential. I provide a strategic and effective approach to both general learning as well as more specific exam and revision techniques.

In the run up to the summer exams, I offer specialist technique-based advice and support, that has been proven to improve grades by several levels. I also offer exam and revision planning sessions for those students who need strategic support in order to achieve their goals.

Chemistry involves a bit of rote learning but again core concepts if clear make learning chemistry enjoyable with loads of fun !!!

I am also looking at online coaching for those candidates who have to travel too far (excess of 20 miles), this is brilliant as it can achieve the same result without the hassle of travelling by using a combination of skype / video conferencing and team viewer. The pupil would need these free to download softwares and off we go !. If the tutee is nearby (1-2 miles) I don't mind driving to teach. We can always work out something optimal between us.

Online Pupils would require upfront payment before starting the session.
