I am a highly qualified Tutor with a BA from the University of Toronto in English Literature and an MA in Creative Writing. I have been teaching for over 6 years and believe that a hands-on approach to learning is key, with constant evaluation of progress. I have successfully helped my students achieve A* on their examinations for GCSE, IGCSE, 11+ and 13+ Entrance Examinations. My students have been successful in gaining entrance into Westminster, St Paul's Boys School, Latymer Upper, Wycombe Abbey, Dulwich, St Mary's Ascott.
I am a professional Theatre Artist, Writer and Artist Educator who produces, writes and acts. Recently my play This is why we live premiered in Paris, France and will go on tour to Canada. First Draft was performed at the Camden People's Theatre and then as part of the Mimetic Festival at The Vaults near Waterloo. I am passionate about education and have been working as a tutor for over 7 years.

I have experience working with students in KS 1, 2 and 3 to A Level in English Language, Literacy and Literature. I am versed in teaching Maths up to GCSE and can cater to my students needs. I also guide students with developing their study skills for their entrance exams. I have successfully helped my students get into their school of choice with As in English.
I have taught in Canada, France and the UK teaching English, Creative Writing, Drama, Maths and French. My experience also involves creating original workshops in Theatre and Playwriting in Canada and the UK. I also have experience as a supply teaching in Primary Schools. In Paris I taught English to young people, and businesses, taught English with C'Efficace, ICB Europe, Langue en Scene and Babylangues. I have taught Creative Writing workshops in South London with Knowledge Seekers.
I believe in a creative approach to learning. Engaging lessons, application and feedback is always key. My work with my pupils involve creating a program that suits my students needs, we map out goals and assess our goals every week. In addition, my knowledge of the British School system is an asset, as I am able to help pupils excel in their entrance exams and be prepared for the year ahead.
I charge extra for travelling more than 30 minutes to the tutee. Please ask for rates.
