Hi I'm Lucy. I'm a fully qualified, Head of Department, Maths teacher and have been offering private tuition for several years. I have 2 children of my own, both of whom have recently finished their A Levels, so I understand the pressure of exams and the desire to succeed and feel confident in your education!

Tutoring Experience

I've been teaching Maths for 15 years now at all levels, including GCSE, IGCSE and A Level and have been using the new specifications from September 2017. I have done lots of tutoring over several years, ranging from pupils stretching themselves to get that A* at A Level to those aiming for a C Grade at GCSE.

Tutoring Approach

I am very friendly, calm, patient and approachable. My lesson observations consistently say how my ability to break topics down and explain them clearly is a real strength and all the pupils I have tutored have said how much easier they find my sessions to understand than their school lessons. I will help you identify the priority areas needed to pass and give you the confidence you need to succeed.
