Hi, my name’s Simon, I live in Cambridge, England. I’m married with three grown-up sons.
I have taught French, Italian and English for over thirty years both in the UK and abroad in a variety of schools and colleges. I have been Head of French and Head of Modern Languages at a leading independent school in Cambridge for over 14 years and have been taking pupils through GCSE and A-Level French for over twenty-five years. I have helped numerous pupils prepare for Oxbridge interviews and pre-interview tests. I have taught English in language schools in the UK and in Italy and France and spent four years teaching English in a collège and a lycée where I prepared pupils for the baccalauréat.
As well as rigorous exam-based preparation and revision, I offer a communicative and highly interactive methodology which requires pupils to think on their feet with an encouraging and step-by-step approach.
