I fully believe that each student is an individual with their own needs and learning styles that need to be taken into account to ensure that they can effectively progress. As such, each of my tutoring sessions are tailored to the individual student - their areas of strengths and weaknesses, and ensuring each weekly session adapts to those changing needs. My sessions with students are interactive, well-planned, and encourage discussion and the exploration of topics or concepts which allows them to grow more confident in their own knowledge, and to expand their thinking beyond just a formula. With all my students, I have a patient, humorous and understanding approach to create a safe environment where students can feel they are able to openly express the areas that they need help in but also where they can express their own ideas and theories about historical debate or literature, thereby developing their confidence in their own abilities as well as developing their exam skills.
